What to do when you have lots of eggs (and no butter at all) to use up, before they go bad? Make these cookies! The liquorice powder could be replaced with anise extract, or any flavouring you like.
175 g flour
½ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. coarse salt
3 eggs
280 g sugar
1 tsp. liquorice powder (I use this)
Whisp the eggs for 3 minutes, graduately add the sugar while whisping, over 3 minutes. Whisp in the liqourice and then the flour, salt and baking powder.
Pipe rounds on baking sheets in desired sizes, and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 8-9 minutes (depending on size), until slightly golden.
Yields 36 cookies (depending on size)
